Abstract:
Mass cytometry, or Cytometry by Time-Of-Flight (CyTOF), is a powerful platform for high-dimensional single-cell analysis of the immune system. It enables the simultaneous measurement of over 40 markers on individual cells through the use of monoclonal antibodies conjugated to rare-earth heavy metal isotopes. Our guest speaker - Dr. Kim's talk will focus on his findings in the high dimensional immune cell profiling by Mass Cytometry in blood PBMCs from Atopic Dermatitis patients. We will then present a technical talk on A 10-tube titration strategy for optimizing and validating mass cytometry panels.
