Unlocking the power of high-dimensional data for clinical research and patient care

Speaker: Allie Greenplate, PhD, Director, Strategic Alliance and Operations, Immune Health, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania

The immune system is a sensory system, by which most variation between individuals is driven by experiences such as vaccinations, infections or environmental exposures. If we can accurately measure individual immune signatures, we can better match therapies to patients.

The use of CyTOF® technology with the Maxpar® Direct™ Immune Profiling Assay™ provides a rapid, standardized approach to collecting detailed immune response data from patients that can then be translated into quantitative, actionable information for discovery and clinical care teams. Using SARS-CoV-2, Greenplate explains how heterogeneity of immune response can correlate to different treatments and how this approach to immune fingerprinting can be expanded to other diseases.
