Multiplexed barcoding for quantitative bioanalysis

Pfizer labs position CyTOF® in the middle of discovery and clinical research, starting with promising candidate molecules that need to be characterized before accurately predicting dosing – essentially, looking for the right target, focusing in on the right compound and determining the right dose. Stevens discusses the use of cellular biomeasures, a quantitative understanding of biological targets and pathways, to fuel translational modeling and simulation from data generated by CyTOF and other modalities and determine drug interactions, efficacy and dosing predictions. Applying live cell barcoding to this process has increased plexity, decreased batch effects and enhanced standardization across samples.
